Jewellery Made From Heirloom Gold Wedding Ring
This beautiful gold ring was a sentimental wedding ring that belonged to a client’s mother. She wanted to turn it into a meaningful pendant for her daughter using Sterling Silver.
This was such a beautiful ring with a history, I didn’t want to loose the essence of the ring, but recreate a piece using the whole gold ring - as when gold is actually melted down, you lose a portion of the metal as impurities and therefore the piece
I added a sterling silver backplate and a sterling silver heart to keep the ring whole. The finished piece is below. Watch a video of the making of this piece here
